fatherhood lessons
Father - Havin' a kid changes everything. There's burping, the midnight feeding, and the changing.
Son -You do any of that?
Father - No. But I hear it's terrible. Then you spend years trying to corrupt and mislead this child, fill his head with nonsense, and still it turns out perfectly fine.
Son - You think I'm up for it?
Father - You learned from the best.

do !
"The idea for Do! came from the observation that people in Warli painting are active all the time, always doing something. It’s a beautiful and dynamic art form, ideal for children’s picture books, and I’m delighted that the book has won such a prestigious award, said Gita Wolf, author of Do! and publisher, Tara Books.
Do! features art from the Warli tribal community of painters in Maharashtra, western India. It is a deceptively simple and ingenious introduction to basic verbs like 'pull', 'eat', 'play', 'sleep'...all illustrated by the elegant minimalist pictograms of Warli artists Ramesh Hengadi and Shantaram Dhadpe, and silk screened on recycled packing paper."

"We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

MEC.

Then come home, my children, the sun is gone down,
And the dews of night arise;
Your spring and your day are wasted in play,
And your winter and night in disguise.
